About PetWORKsペットワークスについて
ペットワークスはPostPetをメインで開発していたプランナーの八谷和彦・デザイナーの真鍋奈見江・エンジニアの幸喜俊により、1998年に設立されました。
設立時には７人、現在も社員８名の小さな会社です。
このように小さな会社ですが、事業部は、ソフトウェア事業部、ドール事業部、航空事業部の3つ。
実はソニーとシュタイフとホンダ、これら3つの会社を足したような会社を目指そう、と思っています。
・・・無謀、ですかね？ 社員８名なのに。
でも、小さい会社だからこそ「自分たちが本当に欲しいもの」がわかるような気もするのです。
そして最終的に「自分たちとみんな」が欲しいものを作るのが、ぼくらの仕事の本質です。

PetWORKs was established in 1998 by the main developing forces of PostPet: the Planner – Kazuhiko Hachiya, the Designer – Namie Manabe, the Engineer – Takashi Koki.
It is a small company which started with 7 employees, now 8 employees.
Yes, it is a small company yet we have three divisions: software division, doll division, aviation division.
We want to become a company like SONY, STEIFF and HONDA all put together.
… is that a daring aim? … with just 8 employees?
But the very fact that we are a small company is enabling us to keep ourselves in touch with “what we really want”.
So, ultimately, the essence of our works is, to create what “we & everybody” want.
